Inspired by the Thomas & Friends' latest DVD adventure Day of the Diesels, Flynn is Sodor’s very own fire engine. He is bright red and full of heroic enthusiasm but he’s not a steam engine. He is able to go on the roads and the rails which is useful but not one he boasts about.
